Things To Know First

Those in possession of one of the following qualifications can apply to participate in the Postgraduate Program in "Multifunctional Metamaterials and Metastructures": (i) old system degree; (ii) master's degree or single-cycle master's degree; (iii) foreign qualification (Master Degree), recognized as suitable according to current legislation.

All those who achieve the qualification required for access by the selection date are also admitted to the selections for the Postgraduate Program in "Multifunctional Metamaterials and Metastructures". If the selection process is successful, the graduating students who confirm their enrollment will be admitted to the Master "conditionally" until they obtain the qualification.

Subject to possession of the admission requirements (reported above), the selection method for access to the Master also includes the presentation of: (1) curriculum vitae et studiorum; (2) motivation letter explaining the choice made.

The commission will assign a score to the letter up to a maximum of 20 points and to the curriculum vitae et studiorum up to a maximum of 80 points. Candidates may be contacted for an interview to explore the contents of the cover letter and CV.

The minimum score to be admitted is 60 points.

Enrollment in the Program is compatible with simultaneous enrollment in another course of study if the two courses comply with the compatibility requirements established by the MUR (Ministerial Decree 930/2022 articles 2 and 3).

What is needed?

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) indicating proficiency level in English language. Please use the ‘European’ template for your CV. This format allows for a standardized comparison of applicants, ensuring fairness and clarity.
  • Transcript of Records. Include a comprehensive list of all courses, exams, and marks awarded during your academic history. If the document is not in Italian or English, please attach an official translation for accurate evaluation.
  • Motivation Letter. Craft a thoughtful statement that outlines your motivation, goals, and aspirations for joining the Master
